Sales Executive
Storagepipe Solutions is a fast-growing company that is a
leader in online backup and recovery and other data protection solutions.
This Business to Business sales position is instrumental
in fueling the growth of Storagepipe's SMB and Enterprise sales and a key driver of company
revenue. Sales Executives are
responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities and developing new corporate accounts. The target markets include small and mid-size
organizations as well as selected large corporate and government clients within North America.
Roles and Responsibility
- Focus on business development in assigned territory
through efficient client prospecting and networking
- Make outbound sales calls to
prospects and close business opportunities
- Follow-up on leads generated through inside-sales, Storagepipe's marketing efforts, as well as your own
sales activities
- Generate new sales at a level
that meets or exceeds established quota
- Perform weekly sales forecasting and account
planning
- Keep CRM system up to date daily with leads, opportunities and customer information
- Strategically engage in client discussions, both on the
phone and in person, which uncover and analyze prospects'
requirements
- Identify & coordinate the resources that will be
required to complete the sales process and provide solutions to your clients' needs
- In conjunction with
Storagepipe's marketing team - analyze, identify, and plan strategies to
pursue significant market opportunities
- Effective management of
customer expectations regarding service, delivery, and implementation aimed at overcoming clients' resistance and
successfully implementing solutions that meet their needs
- Establish solid professional relationships with clients
to ensure long-term loyalty
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years with proven track record of consistent over-achievement and meeting your sales targets in a technology sales environment
- Outstanding communication,
presentation, and negotiation skills
- Must be able to communicate
the Storagepipe value proposition clearly, understand prospects' business problems and needs related to backup and storage and efficiently turn prospects
into customers
- Comfortable working in a leveraged sales environment
where your target income is directly related to your success and achievement of goals and quotas
- Strong prospecting and lead
generation skills is a must
- Self motivated but work and
compete well in a team environment with a positive attitude
- Proven experience employing a
solution and consulting selling methodology to build business cases and
value models for technology services and achieve quantifiable business
benefits for our customers

Good
knowledge of applications required for client presentations and communications (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and
PowerPoint).
- Applications or storage
software experience is desirable
- Knowledge of Operating
Platforms, PC Systems, Windows, and other technology platforms (Unix, databases)

Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity
- BA, BSC or equivalent degree

Available to travel as per the needs of the business
The compensation plan for this position includes a base
salary plus commission and bonus incentives.
