| What is incremental forever paradigm? |
| After a full backup, our application will only backup data that has changed. This is called an 'incremental forever paradigm'. Our software stores information about your data in a Meta database and is intelligent enough to reconstruct a file to a point in time, based on the changed data deltas it records. As a result, you receive a reduction in your backup window by up to 99% (changed data typically represents 1 - 2% of your initial backup). This means less bandwidth usage, and a larger nightly maintenance window for other things. |
